If you manage to bag a wild Rio Grande turkey, prepare for a feast. Wild turkeys have less breast meat than say a Butterball because their sunken chests allow them to fly. You may notice a slightly gamey taste, but the critics give wild turkey meat two thumbs up for flavor.
